Welcome to part two of 2023 trend predictions! These types of blogs are my favorite and I can't wait to share more of my predictions for this new year. In Korea, every year is represented with one of the animals from the 12 Korean zodiac animals and a color. And fittingly, this year is the year of the Black Bunny. Recent trends are leaning towards grunge, uniqueness, and a hint of softness, and I think the Black Bunny fits it pretty well. I'm thrilled to see new trends rise and I hope you enjoy these predictions as much as I enjoyed writing about them. Go read part 1 if you haven't already!
Bubble Hems
Y2k trends have taken over 2022 and they are here to stay. Some y2k fashion is a little too oversaturated now, to the point where some of them are just not it. However, these bubble hem skirts and dresses have been a slow burn and I think they'll definitely hit it off during the spring and summer this year. It's such a unique silhouette and it's a great way to add texture and volume to an outfit.

Colored Tights
I don't know if everyone's Pinterest has been showing them these, but mine has been throwing me colored tights here and there and I love it. It's the perfect way to really spice up an outfit and make them unique. Last year, neutral colored tights took over, but this year, I think colored tights will be all the rave. Colored tights also fit in perfectly with the indie sleaze aesthetic which I think will also be huge.

Layered Belts
Though they are not shown exactly in the photos, I think layered belts will be seen all over this year. Belts, especially western style belts, gained a lot of interest last year and I think that trend will continue. Wearing multiple belts can elevate an outfit so much and it makes the fit more stylized and unique. I can't wait to see some cool belt combos this year!

Super Baggy Bermuda Shorts
As capris joined the trend band wagon last year, more and more people wore them but it didn't really hit mainstream. This year, I think people will wear lots of baggy shorts that are longer, also known as bermuda shorts. These are perfect for the summer if you aren't feeling short shorts or a skirt. They're also really easy to thrift as you can just buy long baggy jeans and cut them to your liking.

Overload of Accessories
Adding a bunch of accessories to an outfit is my favorite thing to do and I think this will be seen a lot in 2023. Even if it's a boring outfit, accessorizing correctly can really do a lot. There are so many ways that you can accessorize, whether that's with rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, hats, sunglasses, gloves, or scarves. Layering on a bunch of accessories, even to the point where it almost feels like over-accessorizing, is in my opinion going to be the next thing for 2023.
