Bombshell Eau de Parfum

Since 1989, Victoria’s Secret has been merchandising their perfumes. Now, they have a variety of selections ranging from floral, sweet, citrus, fruity, fresh, musk, and more. Bombshell Eau de Parfum, an award winning perfume, was launched by Victoria’s Secret in 2014. Since then, it has maintained its popularity and is one of the classic perfumes sold in Victoria’s Secret. They last for about four to five hours. As the name reveals, this perfume is perfect for a “bombshell”, a confident, attractive, flirtatious person. Its notes include Shangri-La peony, vanilla orchid, and purple passion fruit. It is labeled as a fruity floral perfume.

Scents

Top notes: Tangerine, Grapefruit, Pineapple, Strawberry, Passionfruit

Middle notes: Jasmine, Red berries, Vanilla orchid, Peony, Lily-of-the-valleys

Base notes: Musk, Oakmoss, Woody notes

Top notes are the most volatile. They are the first thing that you smell when you put a perfume on. This is what you can call a “first impression” of the perfume. Common top notes that are used are citrus notes, light fruit notes, and herb notes. In Bombshell Eau de Parfum, they used a combination of citrus notes and fruit notes. These notes definitely lure you in once you take a sniff of it.

Middle notes, also known as the heart, could easily be called the most important note. It lasts longer than top notes and it leaves a lasting impression on the base notes as well. The middle notes usually emerge to the surface, enough for us to smell it, once the top notes have evaporated. Some common middle notes include lavender, pine, ylang ylang, and jasmine. This perfume mostly consists of floral notes.

Base notes are the scents that fuse with the heart and linger for hours after the top note has dissipated. These notes are the ones that leave a lasting impression. Most commonly, base notes are made up of woody-warm notes, and musk.

In Bombshell Eau de Parfum, the luring first impression of the top notes and the many woody tones and musk that mix with the floral heart notes leave a luscious effect on anyone who uses it or smells it the slightest bit.
