the beginning of school is quickly approaching with just a few weeks left until we get used to our new routines. whether that'd be high school or college, it's an exciting beginning that always ends up taking up the majority of my brain in august. aaaand since this is a fashion blog, i thought i'd share some of things that i'll be wearing as the new school year begins to give you guys some inspo and as well as explanations to why i'll be wearing them. instead of just listing down what i'll be wearing, each "style" that i'm planning on wearing (and am mostly already am) will be paired with a mood board as well as a description. i really enjoyed putting all these images together and creating this blog, so i hope you guys find it helpful or even just fun to read!!

Comfy + Simple
this look is something that i've been really loving recently because who doesn't love an outfit that is cute and comfy?! this one's all about the pastels and the greys with stretchy cotton fabrics. i'd say that sneakers, Uggs, and Berks work the best for this style and it's certainly a great option if you know you'll be needing an outfit that can get you through a long long day (like when you're going to be up all night studying or sewing...).
Urban + Maximalist
wearing a tonnnnn of jewelry is definitely in right now and i am so here for it. seeing how people layer their clothes and style it in an unconventional way is so so cool and interesting and i love to see it. another description for this style could be the "lower east side" look that has been circulating Tik Tok for a bit.
Boho + Playful
if you know me, you know that i've wearing more and more of clothes of this style. i love all of the accessories and embellishments that you can add to an outfit and it's such a fun look to create. fall is the season of boots and boho is the look for that.
Streetwear + Trendy
this type of look is never going to leave my books. i mean just take a peak, how could you not want to look like that?? this style is all about pairing baggy clothes with fun accessories and bright colors. although i do love wearing tiny little clothes, sometimes i just feel the need to wear baggy clothes and this is perfect for that.
