If You Wear These, I Want to be Friends with You

Continuing on from a prior blog, ‘If You Wear These, You’re Cool’, I present to you ‘If You Wear These, I Want to be Friends with You’. In this blog, I have accumulated a list of brands and types of clothing that I deem relevant. In other words, I like these and if you wear them, let's be friends. However, these items are not just randomly put into the blog just because I like them; they are relevant, whether they are mainstream or not. Some of them are brands that have been on my blog before, and some of them are specific clothing items that I see a lot of people that I want to be friends with wear.

Knitwear from Vaisseau & Work From Beach

Featured multiple times on my blog, Vaisseau is an all-time-favorite type of brand. Their Instagram page presents numerous piece-of-art clothing, and fashion icon Emma Chamberlain was wearing them in a photoshoot in late January with Davis Bates, an LA based photographer specializing in vintage and natural photos. They specialize in knitwear and they use high quality materials like silk mohair and Peruvian wool. They create sweaters, sleeves, bikinis, tank tops, and more, and they take customs during a specific period of time.

Work From Beach is based in Bangkok, Thailand and has 13.9k followers on Instagram as of June 2022. She posts her hand-knit clothes on Instagram, and then they are up to be bought. I’ve been following them for a little while and I’ve always noticed that their new tops are always sold out; they must be in high demand. To order, you DM them and they ship worldwide. They have a ton of original designs and their pieces are stunning. I absolutely adore the recent popularity of knit tops and Work From Beach and Vaisseau provide the perfect pieces that you can’t miss out on.

Anything from the Apoc Store

The Apoc Store is an online marketplace for fashion, design, and art. They sell unique and never before seen items. They have womens, mens, design; anything that can be art, they have it. They also feature over a hundred different artists and it’s perfectly curated. I’ve fallen in love with all of the art pieces that are offered and the fact that what’s being sold aren’t just pieces of clothing but also handmade art. Each item is so unique and you are definitely missing out if you don’t check them out.

Diesel Jackets & Belts

Recently, numerous celebrities that have heavy influence in the fashion industry like Bella Hadid have been spotted in Diesel jackets and belts. I love their simplistic yet sophisticated designs. I think they do a stunning job with color combinations in a way that lures consumers. Their jackets and belts are so versatile, and if I had one, you know I’d be wearing that every single day. If you’re in search of a new belt or cool jackets, please get them from Diesel (and tell me, we should be friends).

Matilda Djerf Headbands

Matilda Djerf is a fashion influencer who first majorly made her name known for her outfits and beautiful voluminous hair. Over time, she developed her name into her own sustainable brand that features a simplistic design that hugs every figure perfectly. One of my favorite items of hers are her headbands. Currently they come in five different designs and I’m in love with them all. They are both out of stock at the moment and I just can’t wait to get my hands on them.

La Manso & Simuéro Rings

These two jewelry brands have been featured on my blog multiple times for their stunning rings. They are “in” right now, but they are also timeless. La Manso produces plastic rings that are made from old molds that were found in a studio in Barcelona. Their chunkies rings in fun colors are great as accent pieces as well as daily wear. Simuéro has handmade gold and silver jewelry that have an organic look to it and a lot of their collections are inspired by the ocean and nature. (for more information, go take a look at this blog)

Off the Shoulder Tops

Off the shoulder tops have been gone for a while and but it's time for them to make a comeback. It’s not just any off the shoulder top, but those that are t-shirts with a wide neck. I’ve recently fallen in love with tops like this, and even if you don’t have a top like that it’s very easily DIY-able. All you have to do is take a top that fits a bit loose and then cut out a bigger neck hole. You can easily do this by cutting along the rim of the original neck hole. They are so flattering and if you don’t have anything like this yet, go get yourself one or DIY it!
