There are so many different ways that you can get inspiration for fashion from: magazines, runways, everyday life, Pinterest, mainstream events, red carpets, and--it's quite literally in the name--influencers. I change my "look" pretty often depending on my new fixation and a lot of it is influenced by certain people I follow on different social platforms. Some people below don't brand themselves as "influencers" the way we know it, but I'm sure they still have a great effect on others. Even if their content isn't necessarily just focused on fashion, their occupation or the way that they present their life can be a big inspiration. I often find myself loving one specific influencer at a time whilst still following others. It's not like in a creepy obsession kind of way, rather a "oh she's so cool" kind of way. For example, those who know me would know that some of these people for me have been Renée Bellerive, Amata Alp, and my most recent one, Eden Masliah. It's kind of like going through different phases.
Right now, I don't really have one specific person where I really get inspiration from, but that'll probably change soon. I don't know if others do the same thing, but I'm sure you guys have people you get a lot of your inspo from. I am super excited to share the people that I get my inspiration. I truly admire all of these people and what they've done with their platform. It's honestly really cool to see how different people tune their pages to fit their very own "look". I included everyone's Instagram but I highly recommend that you follow their Tik Tok too if you like their content (they usually post more often there). I hope you enjoy and discover some new people for inspo!!
LIVVY BANKS
On Livvy Banks' Instagram page you can find a lot of cool outfits accented with red and yellow. Her outfits are very unique and she definitely knows how to present herself well. Her feed is a mixture of outfit pics and non-face pics of her life. A lot of them are very casual and it's nice that she has both very fashionable outfits and outfits that are more commonly worn.
AMATA ALP
I first encountered Amata Alp on the street in New York City and I kid you not she is the most ethereal person I have ever seen. I didn't know who she was at the time and I knew I had to find her somehow. Clearly, I've found her and I've been following her ever since. Her page is a mix of casual photos and professional photos so it's great to get inspiration for outfits, makeup, styling, or maybe even a project you're working on. And also, just look at her. She is stunning. She's very hot in the fashion industry right now as she's modeled for Frankies Bikinis, Tourist Souvenirs, Danielle Guizio, Lucila Safdie, I.AM.GIA, and much more. She is the girl.
MADISON WILD
When I came across Madison Wild on a video from @thriftwars_ on Tik Tok, I new that I had to follow her. I love her cross over of feminine and androgynous looks. I've noticed that she wears a lot of boots and flowy long skirts and dresses, so if you're interested in those, her page is a great one to follow. Also, she poses in so many different ways--as you can clearly see above, she has a different pose for every single photo--so you can get inspo for how to pose for photos as well!
LILA ROSE PALAZA
Lila Rose has a very unique page with a one of a kind "feeling" to it. It's mostly darker themed posts with professional shoots here and there. I love the special aesthetic that she holds and I really like her content. The top right photo is one of my favorite ever photos; everything is just perfectly placed. She also has a twin sister, Ginger Palaza, that has a similar yet different vibe. Their pages are great for people who like the messy yet cool, grunge, and indie sleaze type looks.
ELLIE MARIE
I've been following Ellie Marie for a while and I've always loved her content. Her posts are aesthetic to look at but also relatable in many ways. I personally like her Tik Tok more because she posts more there and you can see her outfits better. A contributing factor to me liking her content is the Ellie-Mari duo. I always see them making content together and the duo makes their posts that much better.
SUSIE LOLA
If you're interested in more informational content, Susie Lola is a great person to follow. Her Instagram is more a collection of her daily life, but the real gem in my opinion is her Youtube channel. All of her videos are fashion-focused and they are very well-designed. She has a lot of "outfits of the week", "current trends", "brands i like", "festival outfits" type of videos and they're all interesting and informational at the same time. I especially enjoy her content because her sense of style is very fashion forward. It's a type of style that I don't think a lot of people can pull off, but she definitely can. She also experiments with different elements a lot so I love seeing fresh components and ideas when watching her videos. Her videos are truly perfect for getting inspo.
