living spaces can heavily affect your mood and your productivity so it's essential that you create a nice space for yourself wherever that may be. kind of going along with my last few posts, this blog is all about some cute items and cool places to get your college decor and household items. i know a lot of you have already moved into your dorms or are about to (as i am too), so i hope this helps you find some cool items that will help bring your dorm visions to life.
i feel like glassware is something that you kind of just look past when it comes to decorating, but i think having fun glassware is the perfect way to make home/room decor more fun. they're really easy to thrift if you're trying to find some on a budget (although i would highly recommend really really scrubbing them down) and there are tons of options online that are very unique as well.

personally, bedding is the first thing that i look for when i'm decorating my room as it takes up a large amount of space and since the bed is somewhere you spend a lot of time. no matter the pattern or texture, i love having really fluffy bedding as that's what creates a really comfortable and cozy bed.

soft lighting creates such a calm and peaceful ambiance and i very much prefer it over harsh white lighting (as i'm sure a lot of you do too). and with the upcoming plethora of late nights that we're about to have, i think having a lamp with a soft light would make staying up feel just a bit nicer.

room decor is not ever complete without the extra little decorations that really add personality to a space. i chose these four elements because i thought they were items that a lot of people generally look for. i love putting up a bunch of posters and photos in my room to fill up the empty wall space and the rug would be perfect on a chair or the floor. this record player specifically can also be connected to other devices and be used as a bluetooth speaker. all of these different elements make a room so much more enjoyable to be in and i highly recommend you add your own personal touch with items like these!
